Liberty University’s Jerry Falwell Library opened to great fanfare on January 15, 2014. The library features a four-story book tower, 170,000 square feet of cutting edge technology, and interactive elements throughout the facility. CSE was essential in the construction of this $50 million building, which represents LU’s largest single construction investment to date. CSE crews erected over 1,200 tons of steel during construction. We accomplished this with a safety record of zero lost time injuries. This could not have been accomplished without the commitment of every member of our team, which was essential in meeting our safety and production goals on this project. Exciting things are happening at Liberty University, and CSE is honored to be a part of them. We want to thank President Falwell, the LU construction department, and each CSE team member who played an integral role in the construction of this Lynchburg landmark.
